Material Testing Technician

Are you looking for a hands-on career in the construction industry? Express Employment is seeking Construction Material Testing Technicians to join our growing team in O'Fallon, IL! This role offers the opportunity to work both in the field and in a materials laboratory, conducting inspections and testing various construction materials to ensure quality and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform field and lab testing on construction materials (concrete, soil, asphalt, etc.).
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Document and report testing results accurately.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and team members.
• Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience in material testing, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work in outdoor environments and travel to job sites.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. (paid mileage)
