We are seeking an experienced CDL A Driver with a minimum of two years of professional driving experience to join our team. As a CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for making local deliveries within a designated area. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and timely transport of goods while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and maneuver a CDL Class A vehicle to make local deliveries within the assigned area.

Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety at all times.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring proper maintenance and reporting any issues or defects to the appropriate personnel.

Secure cargo using approved methods such as straps, chains, or other securing devices to prevent damage during transportation.

Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely, ensuring accuracy in accordance with delivery instructions.

Plan and follow the most efficient route for each delivery, considering traffic conditions, time constraints, and customer requirements.

Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with customers and responding to inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts, ensuring all required documentation is complete and submitted on time.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and report any delays or incidents.

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and out, at all times, including regular interior and exterior cleaning.

Comply with company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and confidentiality of customer information.

Continuously enhance professional skills and knowledge related to driving techniques, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a minimum of two years of experience in commercial driving.

Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past two years.

Proven ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles, including experience with manual and automatic transmissions.

Familiarity with local routes, traffic patterns, and delivery areas within the designated region.

Excellent navigational skills and the ability to read maps, use GPS systems, and follow directions accurately.

Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to delivery schedules and deadlines.

Physical stamina and strength to perform loading and unloading activities, including lifting and carrying heavy items as required.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and completing required paperwork.

Knowledge of and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety standards.
