Location: Dogwood Social House (O'Fallon, IL_

Job Summary
The AVL Producer oversees all live audio, visual, and lighting production for weekend services and events at a designated church site (Metro East in O'Fallon, IL). This includes maintaining equipment, managing content, and leading a team of volunteers. The ideal candidate will have professional AVL experience, strong technical expertise, and a passion for creating meaningful worship experiences aligned with the mission of The Gathering.

Responsibilities

  • Production Oversight
    • Lead AVL production for weekly services, rehearsals, and special events.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot AVL equipment, software, and systems to ensure high standards.
    • Manage and implement media content for worship and events.
    • Support streaming and recording needs for in-person and online services.
    • Assist with AVL upgrades, installations, and central ministry projects as needed.
  • Volunteer Team Leadership
    • Receive, train, and schedule AVL volunteers and team leaders.
    • Support volunteers’ technical development and spiritual growth.
    • Cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, and alignment with the church’s vision.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Commitment to the mission and vision of The Gathering and spiritual maturity in Christ.
    • Expertise in FOH audio systems, especially Allen & Heath digital systems.
    • Proficiency with ProPresenter 7, LED displays, DMX lighting, and VISTA software.
    • Knowledge of digital video routing (e.g., Blackmagic Designs) and Planning Center Online.
    • Experience with Apple hardware/software, Google Workspace, and digital storage platforms.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and composure under pressure.
    • Dependable, proactive, and skilled in managing multiple tasks efficiently.
