Advantia Health, a leading healthcare provider transforming the care model for all women, today announced the grand opening of its first women’s health-focused urgent care clinic in Shiloh, Illinois, in partnership with the neighboring Heartland Women’s Healthcare practice. Additional Women’s Urgent Care of Advantia clinics will be opening in the fourth quarter, 2024, in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The inaugural clinic, located at 1197 Fortune Boulevard, is now accepting walk-in patients experiencing women’s health-focused urgent health conditions and concerns between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
“Advantia’s experienced women’s health nurse practitioners, sonographers and other providers are excited for this opportunity to support women in their community who need immediate care when their doctors may not be available or they do not have a women’s health-focused provider,” said Advantia CEO Juan Vega. “Women’s Urgent Care of Advantia offers convenient, specialized care, often at a lower cost than other urgent and emergency care options, and without the long wait times and stress that can accompany an emergency room visit. Urgent Care of Advantia providers can diagnose, treat and help manage a wide range of services, addressing both common and complex health concerns, including: gynecological emergencies such as vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, and urinary tract infections; pregnancy-related concerns, including early pregnancy symptoms and complications such as excessive nausea and/or spotting; and, infections and minor injuries including STD testing for women as well as their male partners, and yeast infections.
The clinic is designed to provide a convenient and comfortable experience, offering same-day appointments and extended hours. Patients can walk in without an appointment or book online or immediate access to care. Checking in online will not guarantee an appointment at that exact time but may streamline the process and shorten the wait time.
