Front Desk team members are those who work daily to ensure our patient’s calls are answered and needs are met. These individuals schedule the patients with their appropriate providers, ensure insurances are properly inputted in the patient files, collect payment on day of service, and above all helps to provide the patient with the best dental experience available. These individuals are the heart of the office and are a means of support for the doctors, clinical staff, and patients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Schedule - This is a Front Desk team member’s primary responsibility

  • Confirming patients two days prior to their appointment
  • Ensuring the doctor time needed, matches the appointment time on the schedule
  • Scheduling patients with their corresponding providers

-RevenueWell

  • Checked daily for patient requests and payments
  • Print ‘Your Daily Appointment & Task List’ sheet

-Answering a multiline phone system, checking voicemail, checking email

-Insurance

  • Verifying and inputting patient insurance information into their patient file
  • Sending and entering in the pre-authorizations

-Calling the patients to schedule once received

  • Sending insurance claims daily

-Treatment Plan presentation

  • Discussing the patients estimated out of pocket costs before treatment is performed

-Accounts Receivable

  • Collecting patient payment on the day of their service
  • Follow-up on outstanding insurance claims
  • Sending weekly statements to patients

-Sending medical consultations to the patients’ medical doctor when directed

-Process End of Day

-Submitting office deposit

-Scan in all documents once information has been inputted
