Job Description
The Office Assistant will collaborate with the Office Manager and be delegated tasks respective of this role during the day-to-day operations of the business and any other duties assigned by the franchise owner of office manager.  You will receive local training to help understand the brand, the services we provide, and general overview of the tools we use to manage our operations.  You will also be given some very high level training on mosquito, flea, and tick habitat and reproduction cycles to assist in calls to customers.  You will be provided a general overview of the products we use for our services to familiarize you with them to assist in communications with customers and our field operations.  This is a seasonal, hourly-based position (May-Sep).  You should expect 20-25 hours per week, but could be extended based on the demands of our daily operations during peak season.  The Office Assistant tasks will include office operational tasks to include sales, communications, reporting, system updates, and other tasks as needed by the office manager.    
Primary activities in this role include taking sales calls and following up on leads, scheduling and tracking new customer packages, interacting with Field Technicians on changes or updates, monitoring GPS system, scheduling booster sprays for customers, monitoring and handling web quote requests and Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys, following up with new customers after first service, updating customer accounts, attending conference calls and other meetings as required, and other daily tasks or reporting.  Your primary nodes of communication will be through an operational Gmail account, a Nextiva phone system, and through the use of a Texting system to communicate reminders and changes to schedule for customers.  You will work directly for the Office Manager, but will also collaborate with a Lead Technician to coordinate technician scheduling, customer site surveys, and communicate with Technicians through our workforce management tool.  You may be asked to perform other administrative tasks as requested.
